One of the Coachella Valley's marquee sporting events, The American Express has deep roots in the desert. Originally known as the Bob Hope Classic, it now draws top PGA Tour talent to two of the region's most storied courses, with a 2025 purse of $8,000,000.

The Courses

PGA West Stadium Course is a par 72 layout stretching 7,140 yards in La Quinta. Known for its demanding design, it has been a centerpiece of the tournament for years.

Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West was designed by The Golden Bear himself and is the third PGA West course to host the event, adding another layer of history to the week.

La Quinta Country Club was established in 1959 and has long been known as a classic desert golf destination. Par 72, 7,181 yards.
